Dear Valued Readers and Partners: We are thrilled to introduce our upcoming Fall 2026 lineup of titles. Included in this season’s collection are several delightful picture books as well as immersive activity books! You’ll also find themed highlights from our backlist (see Contents to your right). Here’s what’s new for fall. The Day Artists boasts gorgeous, immersive art that explores the natural world (p. 8). This is the diurnal companion to The Night Artists (p. 30 in our Nature and Animals section). Our new offerings also include a new series of activity books called Color & Punch Fun (pp. 3–5). These paper craft coloring books are perfect for screen-free, imaginative play and include stand-up dolls, scenery, note cards, bookmarks, and garlands for kids to color! Finally, our friends at Better Day Books have a new addition to their popular KindKids series. Just in time for the holidays, Holly Jolly Christmas Puzzle Book (p. 2) is chock-full of 100 word searches, crosswords, and more to celebrate the season. Here at Schiffer Kids, we are focused on three key areas: 1. Books That Build Bridges Between Disciplines : We’re seeking to publish stories that relate to other areas of our publishing program, exploring subjects like art, science, nature, and history in ways that connect children with the larger world around them. These books will not only entertain but also open doors to new areas of learning and discovery. 2. Voices of Community Leaders and Influencers : We are particularly interested in working with authors who have a strong, influential role in the communities they write for. These voices bring authenticity, diversity, and richness to the stories, reflecting the lives and experiences of children across different cultures and backgrounds. 3. Answering Life’s Big Questions : We all know that children are naturally curious, always asking questions about how the world works. We are eager to publish books that provide answers to these fundamental questions in a way that is engaging, fun, and inspirational. These books will encourage children to think deeply, dream big, and explore the world around them with wonder and excitement.
